Costly Sim-Swop
On Wed 26 Feb 2025 a Cell C consultant contacted me to advise me one of my 4 contracts with them has had some suspicious *****ulent activity. He advised me to go into my nearest Cell C store to have a sim-swop done.. At Westgate Cell C the consultant insisted I pay R115-00 for the sim-swop. I explained that I had not requested this.. He advised they would not be able to assist unless I paid.. Also sarcastically advised I could call their Customer Service to complain.. Incredible... Is this a way to treat long-standing clients.. ? Is this a way to generate an extra R115-00 from customers under the guise of "*****"?
