Contract termination

I was advised by Cell C that my contact would finish on the 7th of May and that if I want to terminate the contract I should do so in writing 30 days prior to the date of cancelation.<br> I sent through an email with my request at 09:33 on 06/04/2015 and received confirmation that it would be processed at 11:16 on 06/04/2015 with Reference Number: ***<br> Today, the 8th of May, I was getting a new contract from a different service provider, only to find out that my number could not be ported as my current service provider has not processed my request for cancelation and my contract has not been ended with my number not transferred to prepaid.<br> Now I need to drive up and down with time that I do not have to sort this out.<br> Then I get told that it will only be processed on the 10th, 3 days later!<br>
