Contract cancellation ; ***

On the 1st January I made a call to Cell C cancelling my phone contract. I stated that due to being unemployed, I will not be able to afford to pay the contract. I was told that contract will be cancelled come the 1st February. On the 1st February the contract was not cancelled, I then called Cell C on the 2nd February fuming that this contact has not been cancelled. I asked them to immediately retract their data on my phone as I will be loading my own. I needed the assurance from the Supervisor that indeed the contract has been cancelled. A guy Name Tshepo that assisted me told me that the matter will be investigated because he can see on their system that I cancelled the contract and that I called to cancel in January. He assured me that the Supervisor will contact me as He/ She was busy at that moment. Because I have asked for them to retract their Data, I loaded my own and at home we also have Wifi so I was not aware if they indeed retracted their own or not. Come month end I see a debit order from Cell C which I immediately disputed due to the affordability that I mentioned when I cancelled the contract. On the 1st of March another Cell C Data was loaded which clearly indicated that they never cancelled the contract. I called them very frustrated with them and I asked them again to retract their Data and they told me they did and am now i Prepaid. Todate Cell C has been sending messages that R978.89 which I refuse to pay. I have done all that I could to avoid being indepted with Cell C but they failed on their side to do their work. Now because of their incompetence's of their staff I must suffer? I am unemployed and I cannot afford to pay this money. The number in question is ***. I wrote emails requesting to be assisted but all they want is money which I do not have. I attached my screenshots that proved that I had made the calls to them because they told me that their system does not show I called them which I wonder how is that possible because my phone has that information. Cell C need to sort this out. I do not have that amount of money.
