Contract benefits expropriated without compensation!

I have had my contract with Cell C for the past 2 years and instead of moving to a month to month contract as promised, my benefits were taken away without my consent or a warning or a reminder if that is their business practice as they claim. Cell C explained to me the first bill together with the benefits on the first month, ONLY because it had to do with an inflated first payment and no one bothered to explain to me that on the last month my benefits would disappear without a trace. I called the call 'customer care' centre today for assistance and no one seems to know what they are doing. The agents and I agree that the balance enquiry smses are misleading as they show the incorrect date even though 'the business' takes minutes away on the last day of the contract. From our mutual understanding I am left with a lot of questions like:

1. Why is there no disclaimer on the fact that on the last day of the contract I will lose my benefits?

2. If someone is aware that checking the balance does not give accurate information on the expiry date of the benefits, why has that not been updated?

3. Why is Cell C charging me for a full month on the last month yet my benefits will be taken away before the end of the month I am being billed for?

4. If it is company policy that minutes are taken away from customers when they have paid for them, why is not written in black and white for the customer to sign and a copy of that be retained by both the customer and Cell C?

5. Why am I expected to live for 5 days with no minutes while waiting for the first yet everyone agrees with me they also need their phones and cannot go a day without them?

I am left with no other explanation except that Cell C is being deceptive and they want to de***** customers by withholding the things that help them become more profitable while leaving the customer at a disadvantage. Why is there a contract when Cell C does not even bother to disclose its performance explicitly in the contract?

To add salt to my wound I have been on the phone for 2 hours, first with a 'customer care' agent then 2 'Retentions' agents and my case has still not been resolved. What gets me worked up is the fact that no one is remorseful or wants to take responsibility for the wrongful things I have been pointing out. It seems like the issue at hand would rather be ignored and instead blame be shifted to either the customer or the agent who sold the phone under the instruction of Cell C. Another thing, data does not solve anything for me and most of your customers, offering data when someone calls about minutes is a slap in the face.

What is strange is that Cell C can communicate with me always about new promotions (annoyingly so) or anything that has to do with billing, only because it means more money for them if I bite. Cell C will religiously send texts about the change of Debit order date (in the month of December), which I respond to positively because it would have been communicated in good time. The same cannot be done regarding my reason for signing up as a customer, since the debit order date is close and their delay tactics of waiting for 48 hours for a response would mean that it can not be stopped.

Cell C definitely does not care about any of its customers and does not want to retain a single customer. I am left questioning the legitimacy of the Ask Africa Orange Index and Cell C’s Chief Customer Experience Officer Michelle Beetar as this to me does not measure up to good customer care. Business is being conducted in an ************ manner and Cell C's response to this query will determine how I deal with them or will never deal with them again in future. Lucky any reasonable man, I will give Cell C a chance before writing them off and never looking back.
