Contract becomes more expensive after 24 months??

I have a Fibre connection with Cell C as ISP through MetroFibre as the infrastructure provider. If you log onto Cell C's website, you will be able to look at their Fibre contracts and you will clearly see that a 100mbps uncapped connection through MetroFibre costs R1199 a month.

I have this particular contract. All of a sudden, with no warning, my fee is suddenly R1400 a month. No communication, no warning, nothing. I contact Cell C and they tell me that the particular price is only available for 24 months, whereafter it goes up. Have you ever heard of something so ridiculous in your life? This was never mentioned and my contract is a month to month contract in any event.

I am appalled by this level of service. I can literally just cancel the contract and start a new one for the lower price. The most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.
