Contact upgraded without consent
We went to Cell C Savanna Mall Polokwane in December 2023 to upgrade 3 cellphone contracts.
We ended up in only upgrading 2 contracts (new cellphones) My husband couldn't make a decision on a new phone and decided to come back in January 2024. We went back in January 2024 to upgrade the 3 rd contract and Frans at Cell C Savanna Mall Polokwane advised my husband that the contract was already upgraded. Frans made a decision to upgrade the contract to a basic one with no cellphone without my husband's consent. He admitted his mistake and also notified my husband that he can't change it until the next upgrade in 2 years??? How is this acceptable?? How can employees make decisions on a client's behalf?? We still need to honor the contract with no cellphone?? He is not helpfull in sorting out his mistake. He has a very bad attitude towards us for being upset about his mistake. We need this to be sorted ASAP. How is this fair towards clients to pay and honor a contract that we didn't choose to have?

Apologies, thank you for confirming the number in question. We can confirm that the sim only upgrade which was processed on the 20/11/2023 on the contract number *** was reversed on the 13/01/2024. There's currently 2 months remaining on the current contract as the contract is due to expire on the 17/04/2024, therefore you qualify for an early upgrade.
