contact cancelled without my knowlegde

I called Cell C beginning of the month wanting to know my outstanding balance, The Agent I spoke to advised of the balance, I asked if it will be okay if I pay some of the outstanding balance and if the rest of the money can be debited month end, she said that will be still fine, but she advised the number wont be open since I wont be paying the full amount. then I received my statement which had a cancellation fee, I called again to client care wanting to understand the fee for the cancellation what was that for, I was transferred to another department they said they will assist , the phone ringed with no answer, I dropped then called back again. When I called back I got another agent who advised me that the number its not working and that I should rather email , that was on the 7th till today I have not received a respond hence decided to write on hello peter because looks like my number was cancelled without my knowledge and no one called to advised of why its cancelled. this is the bad experience and terrible service I have ever received from any other company
