Constant roaming at night
Can anybody explain the lack of coverage I'm experiencing?
I live in Rondebosch, Cape Town which is very popular with students and where you'll find loads of apartment blocks, i.e. it's pretty dense and yet, between 20:00 and 22:00 without fail, I seem to lose all coverage which means no access to my data. It' like you're sitting in a black hole.
It's extremely frustrating as you can't stream anything, check your email, surf the net or make whatsapp calls! After reporting the problem, I was told that some towers had been moved from CPT to Joburg and that I can use roaming because of some kind of agreement with Vodacom/MTN, but even that doesn't give me connectivity.
What's the point of having a data package which expires if unused and on top of that you can't even use it when you're free?!
