Confirmation letter for a ***** incident

In 2019 some impersonated me and took a contract with CellC. I went to CellC south gate and I was assisted by a consultant and contract was cancelled. Now I app**** for a job, on the ***** records it shows that CellC registered this and mentioned that I am a victim of identity theft, now the potential employer is asking for a confirmation of this incident from CellC.
