January of 2016 Cell C offered me a Huawei E5330 router@R80/pm which I accepted, as a bonus I was told I would get 3gig FREE. I grilled the call centre agent whether there were any hidden costs to which he assured me there were none. a month later I received a bill of R3220. I contacted Cell C and they assured me they would pull the recording and have a resolution within 48-72hrs(I was given a ref#) and I was also told I had actually been sold an open line contract which charges 99c per meg...who in their right mind and in this economical climate pays R3000 for 3gigs,that was on the 1 March. I have made numerous attempts via email and customer care lines to reach Cell C and get a resolution to no avail. They are very quick to call and request payment however when I bring up my query they are very evasive and have the nerve to tell me once they have the recording then they will send it my way, they absolutely refuse to give a time frame and insist In the meantime they will be debiting my account. I am convinced Cell C are a bunch of ****** who will say and do anything to make a sale regardless, I wouldn't be surprised if they had affiliations with the Zuptas
