Complain of disappointment and dissatisfaction

I am unhappy with Cell C service. They are reaping people off.

1. I signed for a 24 months data contract which ends by end June 2019 and it’s is due for upgrade. My Cell C home LTE router started acting up from April and booked it for service only to find out there is nothing wrong with the router but the network/signal coverage problem in my area (Mahikeng). Today when I go to the outlet to get the router, it was returned unattended with the quote of R1500 with the explanation of the router is out of warrantee and has no insurance as a result I have to pay the R1590 for replacement. Mind you the replacement router it’s the same router I have which means it will never work also in my area... my concern is I am paying for a router that is not working for the remaining months from (April to June) and cell c is not ready to resolve my problem. I am now left with a router that is not working and I have been paying for it over 24 months.

2. On the 1st of April 2019 I was contacted by the Cell C consultant and sold me the LTE sim only contract which is a month to month contract. On the 5th April I activated the sim and the sim never worked as there is no coverage (I learned only after I consulted the outlet in Mahikeng) I immediately called for cancellation and was told the contract was cancelled only to find out the deducted my account month end for the service I have never used. I made a follow up again for cancellation on 3rd May 2019 and the contract was cancelled and sent me a reference number. I then received a message that I have to pay R700 and something for what I don’t know, and this amount will be deducted month end May. I have been calling and calling but I don’t get the answer to my question. Remember I am not using the SIM card and have never used it.

Please intervene on this two matters
