Check, Check and Check again

Welcome to March. Dear Reader, according to my most recent Cell C Statement I am in month 8 of 24 with regards an upgrade I did last year that didn't get off the runway.

Quick overview - after years of waiting I finally decided to upgrade my contract with Cell C. I opted for a Tablet and not a phone. While I was setting up the tablet I discovered that the sim tray was damaged. I immediately approached Cell C who messed me around for 2 months. I was finally able to send the tablet in for assessment. Post assessment I was advised that the sim tray had sustained damage and that the cost of fixing this was more than the tablet was worth. Outraged I declined the repairs and asked that that the upgrade be canceled - I was advised that this wasn't possible.

I am now the prod owner of a tablet with a broken sim tray. Further enquiries resulted in me being called a **** and I was accused of having damaged the tablet - this despite ANY evidence proving this. I kept asking the *****s who phoned me the same question - why would I damage a tablet in the first week of receiving it ? it doesn't make any sense.

needless to say, Cell C has done absolutely NOTHING to fix this mess. after years of really great service they decided that customers are no longer a thing they want to be bothered about.

So, don't call me, don't email me - WE ARE DONE. I will continue posting here as it's the least I can do after their BS. To any customers, please check your stuff while you are still in their store - they won't believe you once you get home and pick up a problem.

See you again in April.
