Charging customers for their technical faults
I'm a Cell C,customer, I have two contracts with cell c. But as a loyal customer to cell c,cell c is not loyal to their customers.
My sim card stopped working on the 19/04/2018. Immediately after my sim card stopped, I've contacted cell c technical department, but they failed to fix it. Today I went to cell c shop for assistance & they told me to come with affidavit and I have to pay something like R110 for sim swap.
I've asked they how can I pay for their technical fault, because I didn't break my sim card. The lady asked to check my sim card. She told me that the same sim card that I've signed contract with it is not registered under my name. What funny is that I've been using the same sim card till last week Thursday. Now cell c is telling me that I've changed my sim card because they want to charge me. How and why I have to change my sim card, while I've been using Vodacom prepared sim card for more than 10 years without any issues. Cell c, what are you doing is ***** & I want my sim card to be fixed as soon as possible or I'm going to report this to consumer commission. You are not enough with high data and airtime that we are paying. Because even on one ofor my contract that I'm paying R220 per month, if I request R70 airtime. Month end you debit more that R400 on my account. Cell c,enough is enough ?
