CHARGED FOR DEVICE NOT DELIVERED

Cell C upgraded my contract on sim only but have been charging me a device fee for 6 months. i have called all kinds of numbers as provided by their customer care (084 135) to either receive the device (084 145) or get upgrade reversal so that they stop deducting for a device they still have (084 143)

the customer agents always put me through to these numbers and NO-ONE EVER ANSWERS.

Iam still being sent from pillar to post.

The agents on 084 135 keep sending my calls for 56 weeks now to 084 145 option 2 to check delivery but noone answers that line, ever.
Yesterday an email came from renewal that "Kindly note we are closed during the lock down period and our couriers are unable to deliver during this period. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please bear with us as we play our part in this fight RegardsCell C – Retentions"
the evening of 21 April 2022 an agent told me that my upgrade does not come with a device, yet iam charged 166.00 and its on month 6 of 24.

today 22 April 2022, i called Hatfield store and they confirm that a device upgrade was done for Samsung A22

I was requested to do a SAPS affidavit and i did this and submitted it on 28 April 2022, which is almost a month ago... There has not been feedback provided to me by Cell C

iam still yet another month ( seven now) going to pay for a device i was not given.

i need a refund for all these months and my contract to be amended by removing the device fee

The Matter has been resolved and now closed. Thanks to the ***** department and Mpho Ndlovu who took time to explain what happened in the contract prior to the upgrade date of October 2021.
