CFibre Not Doing Their Jobs

Hi,

In September 2017 I had a Fibre internet line installed by CellC for 20Mbps Uncapped for R899 p/m. This included the first 3 month for free. In November I was then in the process of moving to a new home which at that time did not have fibre facilities and therefore I had to request that CellC Cancel the line which is when they informed me that I would have to pay a cancellation fee of R3646.

When I started moving into my new house in November I then saw that Vumatel was currently busy installing fibre in the area which then prompted me to contact the CellC sales representative and request that they please do not cancel the line and instead I just wanted to move the line to my new home. This is where everything went wrong....

on the 30 of December I receive a notification from my bank stating that CellC has debited my account for the cancellation amount even though I requested that the contract stay active. I contacted the Regional Manager for Cell C in Cape Town and lodged a formal complaint against the Sales rep as I felt she did not do her job and that I would reverse the debited amount. After I explained everything I requested that the contract be reinstated and be frozen just until I could get Vumatel to install the CPE in my home. This was agreed upon and I thought all would be fixed now, This was not the case. End of January 2018 Cell C Debited my account again which is when CellC started phoning me to tell me that I owe them the Cancellation amount, I explained to the Service agent what had happened and that they need to contact the Regional manager to sort this out which they agreed. In the mean time vumatel came to install the CPE and I contacted the Manager again to get the line activated which was done with no issues. End of february Cellc tried to debit my account again for R3646 and again phoned me, I again told them to speak with the Cape town Regional manager. This has been happening every month up to now and this issue is still not resolved. Cell C has given my account over to Nudebt debt collections company now for money that I do not owe them.

All I wanted is for the R3646 to be voided from my account so that I could resume paying the R899 monthly fee for the contract that never should have been cancelled.

CellC is a higly un-proffessional company and it has become very clear that there employees don't know how to do their jobs at all.
