CFibre accounting errors punish trusting consumers
I pay R907.01 per month for a 20/20 Fibre line with cell C. And they tell me my account is in arrears of R702.01 for a reason nobody has been able to clarify what it’s for. I have no other lines with them except this one fibre connection.
They have disconnected it today over this R702.01 even though I have been paying monthly for the agreed contract amount.
As advised at store and call center I emailed my query to ********** and up to today 17 April there has Still no response to my query from 28 January 2019. Even as I followed up today the call center agents (because they had to collaborate to try figure out what they were looking at on their computers and I was put on hold numerous times on a call I am billed for) could not understand why this R702.01 is on my statement and advised I email the same address that has not responded for 3 months.
Support@cfibre email has not even bothered to respond to my query of this outstanding amount since 28 January and hence not been able to explain this charge till today. All Cell C representatives advise that I can only query Fibre issues via email to ********** which I find quite concerning that I may never be answered.
Cell C has cut my Fibre for this unexplainable charge. Why must a company we should trust be allowed to victimise people over their own accounting errors. I pay R907.01 per month for this service and now disconnected.
So far everyone I have spoken to from the store, call center and email has been escalating my query to no end and I feel like there isn’t a professional at Cell C who understands why the system insists I owe R702.01 to this day. I have a case number ( ********** 780) from back in January when I 1st queried why a month to month contract is in arrears for this amount and as mentioned nobody lifted a finger.
Even through their own processes they have not managed to clarify. Am I asking too much?
I use my internet for work as well as entertainment. Must my business and personal life be affected by Cell C accounting errors in this already bad economy?
