CellC unreliable service, equipment and wrong advice
Tyger valley Branch upgraded my cell contract and did not change my 18 yr old Sim card. I rely on this contract for my business and contact with my elderly husband in a home. A disaster without a phone when the Sim stopped working. The LTE was also replaced at the same time. What a disaster. The Sim was not activated so no service. I had to go into the branch for activation. I was not informed to link to Vodacom tower so CellC tower broke down 4 x a day for. Months until I could get technical advice to reset. 2 days later the Sim packed up and on their advice was told to try the cell in my mobile but the Sim was too big and had to be taken off the card to fit. Which of course did not refit into the LTE and I now have to pay another R299 to have it removed by Fix It. What bad service. And Data costs soaring flying out the
