CellC *****sters

In 2021 my Cellphone contract came to an end and i was called asked if I would like to be on month to month deal. I was advised if I wished to cancel i need to give a months notice. I called CellC to cancel the month to month deal. i was advised that i was on a 24 month contract which i was never called for and neither did I agree to such deal. I was told that i was sent an sms to stating that the month to month has now been changed to a contract. this was never on a call like they did when my contract ended. I am extremely disappointed in CellC in that they knew to call me when my Cellphone contract ended and yet on the Data month to month deal they couldnt call me and now hide behind an sms they sent me. Due to the "so called sms contract" I entered I must now pay R400 and odd to cancel this contract that ends in October 2023. CellC shrewd and ********* and lack consistency. I am very unhappy with how CellC has dealt with this situation, I have honoured all my agreements with them for 9 years and now this ....... really unacceptable. I guess this is how big CellC do business and have decency of a simple agreement. If we cant be trusted by our WORD then by what. Statements like my word is my honour means nothing to CellC.
