CellC Shady as Always
Ohhh why did I join Cellc once again. I got into a new contract in June and July last year. The contracts were R250 each and I took two. The sum of the two contracts must be R500. I read the contract and didn’t see where they told me as a client that cellc will increase the price at their own discretion. The R250 was just a **** to get clients and when you have signed the 24 month contract you are in for it. They will increase the price of the contract. I called their call centre and the lady who I spoke to couldn’t explain why the price of my contract was increase and when I asked to speak to a manager I was transferred and had to hold for 30 minutes until some decided to hang up. What a lovely service from cellc. I used to have contracts with Cellc and this was the things that made me leave shady way of doing business. But I will never again. When this contracts end. I will never use cellc ever again. Thank you cellc to prove me your business is shadiness and you will never change.

From the 1st of July 2019, the monthly subscription fees and/or Out-of-Bundle rates on certain Contract (Postpaid and TopUp) voice contracts was changed. In addition, the monthly fee for GetMore will also increase. Affected customers were notified of the price change via SMS and received a message with a link to a page on our website detailing the pricing changes. In April, we launched our new MediaPlay plans which address customer needs more effectively andprovide excellent value for money. For customers who are requesting a migration, a needs assessment should be conducted and the customer should be offered one of our new range of MediaPlay Plans.
The Service Suppliers are entitled on written notice to you (which notice may be sent via SMS), to change the terms and conditions of the Agreement if necessary because of any new and/or amended law, tax, regulation and/or any change in the terms and conditions of Cell’s Licence and/or any change in the Tariff Plan or Services. The Service Suppliers are further entitled on written notice to you (which notice may be sent via SMS), to change the terms and conditions of any Services or conditions of supply of the Equipment. If the Service Suppliers change the terms and conditions, you will be notified of such amended terms and conditions and you will be able to view the amended terms and conditions of the Agreement, Services and supply of Equipment on www.cellc.co.za.
