Last year CellC changed it's data billing increments in order for them to reap more revenue out of the data usage. I did my calculations and found that even with this changes, the overall value of the package I was on was acceptable until this morning. Read more about it below with the link provided.

The one thing that irked me and prompted this response is that CellC first uses your data bundles and the moment it is finished they use your available airtime until it is finished with no option to pause the data usage. Telkom, Vodacom and MTN does not do this and gives clients the option that when their data bundle is finished to go ahead using the excessive OOB (Out of Bundle) rates or to stop data usage until a new bundle is loaded. What ****es me of is that they sometimes notify you and sometimes not that the bundles are depleted.

I demand that CellC puts it in place a system to give me the option of buying another bundle or paying the excessive OOB rates as this is the sole reason why I will go back to Vodacom when my contract is up for renewal.

[URL Removed]
