Cellc provides the worst customer service

My pre paid Sim card has been de registered by cellc because i haven't filled airtime in my card for a few months but I receive calls daily on it, I have been using my number for business but due to covid I haven't filled in airtime.

So my number has now been blocked by cellc due to this. Cellc has provided the worst service and the consultant has not been very helpful with regards to this matter.

I have lost my cellphone number that I have had for 5 years.

Hi Rubashni

In order to keep the number active, you have to recharge even if you recharge with R2.00, it helps to keep the number active on the system.

After 120 days of no recharge on a SIM card, the SIM card is deactivated, recycled and allocated to a new subscriber. Unfortunately you will not be able to get the number back.
