CelC, by their own admission, are experiencing a problem with customers paying by credit card and sending customers an sms stating that the account is in arrears and arrangement for payment must be made as soon as possible. How easy is it CelC, to make your problem that of the customer, should you not send out an sms, admitting to your problem, apologising and then ask if an arrangement can be made for payment instead of making the customer look like they are in the wrong and defaulting on the payment. When phoning CelC, they want your details dating back to the birth of your great grandmother for security reasons, although they have it all on the system and will not go halfway by you supplying one part, them the other. With all the ***** and money *****ing, I am not one of those that just give out personal information for my own security reasons. The supervisor admits that they, CelC, are having a problem and their technicians are trying to rectify it. However, you as the customer are being held responsible to do the payment or your line will be cut. ARE YOU FOR REAL CelC?! If you know you have a problem, you admit, apologise and then ask for the cooperation of the paying customer. I have been a loyal customer and defender of CelC since they started in SA, not once did I receive recognition, or even a simple thank you. My payment is and always have been done on time, in full, never late, but, due to their problem within a day I get the sms stating that my account is in arrears and pay, or we cut your line. BAD FORM CelC, BAD FORM. I have asked for an email and sms apologizing for their problem and making me look like the guilty party, but I am not holding my breath.
Best regards,
