CellC Free Data pinching

<p>Hi everyone,</p> <p> </p> <p>Just a heads up to people using pre-paid airtime. Here is what happens: When you buy R 50 airtime you get 150MB free data. Let's say you bought this airtime on a Monday. That is very useful and a good deal, however the data has an expiry date, three days. The problem comes in when you buy another R50 airtime the very next day, Tuesday, you now have "lots" of free data but when the data of Monday's purchase expires you lose the data of Tuesday as well. It would seem that CellC system just does a Data wipe from their side and don't take into consideration that you have other data that has still not expired.</p> <p> </p> <p>I contacted Cell C and they tried to explain that I might have background apps on the phone that might cause the problem, thank you for trying to help but that is not the case. The above happened twice to me already. </p> <p> </p> <p>Free data is great but don't "pinch" the data when it has not expired yet. </p>
