Cellc. Even worse than 1998
Cell c has always been ****py but i was used to it and lived with it. Like being in a bad relationship but it just to much trouble to get out and start afresh. Now that Cellc has started migrating to towers of their opposition its gotten worse. I have effectively been knocked back 20 years tech wise by Cellc. Yhe best connection i can hope for is EDGE. This means i cant google. I cant use live gps or any data related tech. The best i can do with my R8000 smartphone is Whatsap badly make ****py calls and maybe send sms. The only time i can use my phone is at home where i have wifi. Fortunately not cfibre. Im not at home enough to enjoy this slight advantage. Im not fortunate enough to have ****** R64 milion from my employer so i can work from home. Sadly im under contract so im pretty *****ed as far as porting goes. So im not looking for advice like turningbonnroaming and restarting and make a backflip while juggling sharks. Just want to warn anyone who might be concidering dealing with Cell c. You will end up 20 years in the past.
In line with our Network Strategy, we initiated a network migration which will allow our contract and broadband customers to roam on our partner network for fast and improved network connection at no extra cost to you. Change your network settings to manual, select Vodacom as your provider, enable data roaming and restart your device. ^MM
