Cellc bad service

I would like to request for assistance with Cell C, I had a phone contract with them which I wanted to close. I called them and requested for the outstanding balance so I can pay it in full and close the account. They told me the overall outstanding balance was R1800, I paid it and asked them to close the account. After 4 months I received an sms from their legal services that I am owing Cell C and I must pay if I don't want to be blacklisted, Cell C denied ever saying my account was not owing. I did pay the amount they wanted in installments now I am requesting for the over outstanding amount they said my account has been fully paid I am not owing any amount. When I ask for paid up letter they are refusing to give it to me, they keep saying that I must send emails but they don't reply.

Please assist me because this is having a negative impact on my credit score.

Did you send the proof of payment regarding the payment that you made?

Yes I did.

My count was handed over to SSDA they were deducting R200 monthly. Recently I called them to ask for the overall settlement amount so I can pay it in full and close the account. They informed me that CELL C took back the account I must contact CELL C. I called CELLC call center and they informed me that my account is not owing I must request for a PAID UP LETTER.

At this point I don't know what to do because it seems as if I am not getting any where with CELLC when I call they give me different numbers to call and I do not get assisted. This has had a negative impact on my credit score. I am unable to pay for the account or get paid up letter or anything because of poor customer service at Cell C. This back and forth has been going on for 2 years and it very frustrating.

All I am asking is for you to give me the settlement balance if I am owing so I can pay or the paid up letter if I am no longer owing you. Other than that I will ask for assistance from NCC.
