CellC are in the business of robbing customers

Last year in October I complained about Cell Anytime 50gigs LTE router. It's been hardly a year after my initial complaint which was resolved but there's another issue again. My router stopped working on Friday/Saturday. I initially attributed all of these to my data having run out. I went to CellC northgate yesterday and they told me it could be a damaged SIM card. Then today i went to CellC Sammy Marks and they indeed confirmed that it was damaged SIM Card after testing it.

This is outrageous, unfair and it smacks off thievery. I'm angry and I wouldn't like to continue with this contract. How can the SIM card be damaged when i hardly ever take it out? Somebody from the store explained to me that it could be due to the Router heating up and damaging the SIM card chip in the process. That's also not supposed to be my problem too.

I've been having problems with these LTE routers eversince. And before these unreliable routers were introduced. I used to be on a ****le for over two years and how come my SIM card never got damaged? CellC should stop *********** people about their Router contracts. If i'm gonna pay money to do sim swap, then i seriously want out. Because this effectively means that 6 months down the line, these cheap and malfunctioning routers will heat up and burn my SIM card again. then i will be required to do another SIM swap again. NO ways.

Hi Benton

SIM cards have delicate electronics and do get damaged. Please advise if you would like us to assist you with the SIM swap from our side or if you will be visiting your nearest Cell C store.

I can go to the nearest store. Cellc Sammy Marks. I'm not impressed with Cellc at all. It doesn't matter how delicate the electronics can be. My question is why was it not damaged with my prior contract when i was still using a ****le? You should let us know if this is your ************ way of *********** your customers by making them use these ever malfunctioning LTE routers.

Can somebody please respond to my query. You silence is a strong indication that you just don't care about your customers. Sometimes when companies like Cellc start behaving like a spoilt brat, you should always remember that you are not the only one.
