CELL RIGGED TO ENSURE YOU LOSE AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE

I signed a 24 month data bundle contract at R399 p/m over 24 months - this is p/m the most expensive data network. This contract expired end of June 2018. As I received fiber in my home early 2018 I unplugged the router and stored it away only to find that CELL C has not stopped billing me!!! I called customer care and anxiously waited for a supervisor to explain this nonsense. Well apparently if your contract expires they automatically place you on a post paid month to month, regardless of your usage. I demanded that the supervisor show me the terms where this is allowed as I still have all my paperwork. The supervisor repeated herself for 20 minutes to say this is just how it works. I demanded again that I want to see where Cell C made this term. I then cancelled my data contract today, only to find out that Cell C does not do immediate cancellations, no I need to give a 30 day notice to which they still bill twice. so I was explained that if I cancel now, then Cell C will still bill me on 27 Sep and then 27 Oct. However the sim card will be deactivated on the 7th of September, thus preventing me from using the last data. The administrator suggested that I call in on the 25th in order to try and get as much time as possible out of the last month. Can you believe this ******* practice? I signed a 24 month contract and there is no terms that allow Cell C to change my EXPIRED contract into a post paid contract. I want this cancelled now. I WILL FIGHT FOR MY R800 THAT CELL STOLE.

Not only this in the first 2 months I was slapped with a R1500 bill each time, because although I signed a strict 10gb package, Cell C stated that the line is "Open" and that I need to cap a rand amount after the 10gb data was depleted.

From personal and professional experience, Cell has the worst coverage, smallest support size and general lack of good business ethics, there is nothing else that Cell C can do to get me and my family on their side again. Blerry Guptas - I will ensure that this message is circulated between my links.

HOW CAN THIS BE ALLOWED???

Cell C only called me to explain how the billing works, still wasting my time I stopped the call. BUT still no proof of this phantom terms, no where is this stated anywhere. Cell C should give this money back - BAD CELL C. Check my facebook page, i'm going to ensure every single person i meet and chat to knows about this and will as a "techie" suggest to them otherwise.

Please respond with what the consultant had to explain to the public. I can't be give my details to every illiterate person saying they are from Cell C, Ive made 10's of logs and then the consultant said she "needs my details to explain to me how it works". So I ask agin, please show the public, where in your terms does it allow you to 1) leave my line "open" until i'm billed at rand per mb rates 2) Continue the contract after the stipulated 24 month period subscription as PER MY SIGNED CONTRACT. 3) How can Cell C demand a 30 day cancellation on a postpaid service and then shut the network off 17 days before the last payment, although I should be allowed to use it until 12:00 26 Oct, If I pay a Pot paid on the 27th of Oct. Please explain that to us?

You logged a review on Hello Peter and you were advised that a team member would contact you then when a consultant contacted you from Cell C regarding your Hello Peter complaint, you started using inappropriate language. How will you get answers if you are not cooperating? How will you get clarity?

Consultants have to follow specific business rules when handling customer queries or requests and a security check is mandatory.

I successfully stopped one of Africa's largest cabling company's from integrating CellC packages with all their equipment and techies. they will now test and opt for Vodacom or Afrihost(MTN). The amount that you Cell C has lost in such a short time in just this one transaction satisfied me enough to know I should endure spreading the word. enjoy ignoring me, because I will not ignore you. " Chris ****** Thanks for the info Vincent. Our plan was to move all our technicians over to Cell C end of this month. Doubt we will go ahead with it now. Sounds like bad customer service."

Gladly stopped another company from buying CellC. I am lucky to work for one of the largest Civil engineering companies, allowing me to speak to everyone at tender and building stage. The best of all is that I only need to speak the truth, show my transactions from Cell C and Bob is your uncle, no one wants business. Awethu
