Cell No. ***

I NEED HELP PLEASE. Background : I have been the owner of the mentioned cellphone number now for over 15years. Over the years, I've moved to and from different Networks. The last contract I had was with Cell C. Via Nashua Mobile. Nashua mobile stopped their cellphone operations, and all active contracts was passed on to Glocell, who also stopped their contracts. So from Glocell I went prepaid. On recent enquiry, I was told that the number does NOT belong to me. Only thing they can see on their system is that it belongs to a Company So I can't even port. Or do anything. I tried everything . Call centres, walk in stores. Nobody can help me. The call centre told me that my number is on prepaid. And the shop must just capture my ID and proof of residence. Went back to the shop and was sarcastically smiled and frowned upon. I was told that only the call centre can fix the glitch. Currently I'm still using the number on prepaid. Their solution is: Just discard the number, and buy a new sim. But having this number for so many years now. And having to give it up, will be disastrous. Social and for business purposes. It also have sentimental value. My reasoning with the agents was. Maybe the cellphone contract companies didn't release my number. They shrugged everything off. Not the least interest from them. A very demeaning experience.

Good day. I believe Lungi has supported me to her best ability. Confirming that my cellphone number was indeed on contract at Glocell. Which ended 23 March 2018. And is now on prepaid. However. It is with great disappointment that I have to write to you again. The walk in centre wants proof that the contract ended. I was given this e-mail address to obtain proof or a statement that my number is on prepaid. *** Upon enquiring the requested documentation. I got an automated reply. Stating that my glocell account is ceded to Cell C. Which to me seems I'm chasing my own tail, as whatever Lovell had, is now Cell C. Please? I've passed all the security checks. How difficult can it be to change the details on your system?
