Cell denies me a number change on my contract.

I am totally disappointed with Cell C for failing to assist me with my request for a number change. My request dates back to the 29th of August 2017 when I spoke to a customer care agent who took all my details and gave me a case number. The customer care agent assured me that I would be getting a call within 48hrs. To my surprise I did not receive a call and apparently an agent called Chantal Jooste had closed the case without caring to contact me as the customer that requested the number change. I called customer care on the 4th of September to follow up on the number change and I was told it was cancelled and I requested the number change again. I am still waiting for an agent to call me back to assist me. It is very unprofessional for a service provider to give a turnaround time that they cannot commit to, then fail to apologise. Time is of essence when it comes customer requests, if I did not need the number change NOW, I would not have called. Not once has cellc failed to get their money when they debit my account yet I have failed on numerous occasions to get assistance with my queries.

On a non related incident, I tried to migrate my number to a data line and I was quoted a ridiculous amount just to make sure I would not continue with my migration request. I would like to tell you guys in writing that I will not be upgrading my contract with your company and whoever gets to assist me with this query needs to lodge that notice immediately. I do not have ample time on my hands to continue a relationship in which I babysit professionals that choose not to fulfill their duties.

I would like to get feedback from a competent individual within 24 hours.

Thanks a million to Moses Mo***eng, my query has been resolved. My contract was migrated effortlessly and I couldn't be happier. All it took was a few questions and a solution within the the time agreed on. Customer service is an attitude and not a department, hopefully the same attitude will spread across to the other agents I spoke to before!

I would like to request that someone other than Theodora contact me to assist me with my query. I should have known from the first call that she was not willing to assist me. When she first called I requested that she call me at 4:50 and she refused to call at that time saying she wants to knock off at 5 and I asked her for a time that would allow us to speak so she can knock off at 5 and she suggested 4:45. I waited for her call from the time we agreed on and only at 5:19 when I thought she had knocked off at 5 as she had told me earlier, she called and was not in the mood to help me. First she started giving me an explanation without doing a security check with me or looking at my specific case and only looked at my profile later during the call after I had said that part of her explanation did not apply. All she wanted to do was to keep on aggravating me so I can say something that would lead her to telling me that it was 6 and unfortunately she needs to go home. Like I mentioned in the original post, I am aware of the delay tactics and I need someone who is calling me to assist and not playing games deliberately to delay the process
