Cell Cheats, most *********** company I ever dealt with

I took out a data contract on 14 June with Cell C as I was well in the coverage area and the consultant/manager at the Potchefstroom branch said I will get over 30MB per second although I would have been happy with 10. I was sceptical of doing business with Cell C so during my discussions with the their consultants they repeatedly assured me that I have 7 days to cancel the contract and even after that cancellation will be painless and I would only have to pay for equipment and one month notice. All lies! I There was a short glimpse where I got more than 10 but most of the time I didn't even get 0.5!!! I moved the device around, called their customer service desk (useless²) and called the local branch. After two days I returned the device and requested to cancel the contract, they said there is network change causing problems and that it would be resolved. I was adament to cancel as I already knew by then I will only have problems if I continue to do business wigh them. I was assured that the contract will be cancelled within a week. Well of course it was not, this morning a month and a half later I was billed for the whole period and to this date have not received one confirmation that cancellation has been affected. During this time I repeatedly called the branch manager and he assured me repeatedly that cancellation is in process but there is a backlog due to plenty of cancellations! I have dealt with bad service especially from telecom companies before, but Cell C gave a new meaning to bad service to me! They lie, they don't deliver at all, and they have a genuine dont care attitude.
