Cell C, you should be ashamed

I have been a cell c customers since approx. 2001, and have been basically happy with the service I received. Due to being held up at a clothing store and then in a home *******, I ended up with 5 contracts, amounting to approximately R1800-00 per month, which I paid with a debit order. So, in May of 2021, I got one of those cold calls from a Cell C agent offering me all kinds of fabulous. I always turn down these offers, but this time he made it sound really good and I was needing to cut my cell phone costs so I listened. ( I have his name and cell number). I am also very happy to know that Cell C records all these type of calls. So after he explained how it worked etc and what the offer was, I repeatedly asked him "so you are sure, I will be paying less than my R1700-00/R1800-00 that I am paying now, and he repeatedly confirmed this. He also confirmed that he could adjust the amounts of my current contracts so that with this new offer, it would be substantially less per month. I received my new sim cards on the 9th June, delivery name cellc***8, order number ***2-1 internal ref *** On the 30th June the usualR1830.37 was debited from my account. Great. On the 31st July an amount of R2823-32 was debited. I immediately rang the Cell C agent who I had dealt with, and he said he would look into it. On the 1st of Aug, R2823.32 went off again. So, in a panic and needing this money for other debit orders, I once again rang the Cell C agent. Well, all he wanted to do was ök, so lets see what contracts you have and where we can cut, and after me telling him over and over (recorded I hope) that I just want my original set up as it was, that he assured me repeatedly that I would be paying much less, that I could not afford this, all he wanted to do was revise my contracts and see what I didnt need and what we could cut. I finally was in tears, telling him I hated fighting but I am going to report this , go to Hello Peyter and Fb etc, if it wasnt sorted by end Aug. After many many phone calls, many of which he didnt even answer, I would leave a voice note and then he would call me after hours with the exact same solution...cut what I didnt need and no amount of threatening, begging, pleading resolved anything. So I decided to wait until end Aug and give him the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he would sort it, but OMGosh...end of Aug, the 31st R5272.95 went off my account. I then with drew all my money ( as the person at Capitec Cradlestone branch had clearly not cancelled my debit order as I had been it to ask after all the first debit order saga) So, end of Sept, obviously Cell C contacted me when they could not debit my account, via SMS, saying I owed them R2469.26. I did an EFT of R1800-00 which is what my account usually is. I got an email today to say that I am in arrears for R669.26 and my service will be cut should I not pay immediately. I will happily pay my R1800-00 a month, but not a cent more. Cut my service and I will simply buy pay as you go air/data time. Nevermind that for approximately 3 months and more towards the end of last year and beginning of this one, my routers had no connection at all, due to "Cell C" joining up with Vodacom and using their towers and and and, and again, despite no one being able to sort it out and me just buying data when I needed it, I again gave Cell the benefit of the doubt and plodded on in good faith that they were a good service provider. Finally they ( agents at Cell C cradlestone, now closed) got two of the three routers connected. I am so disappointed and I am sure you dont really even care. Loyal customers mean squat to big companies like Cell C, I know this little story wont get me anywhere, but I just wanted my side of the story told. I do not want to name and shame the Cell C agent who sold me this mess, but thats me and Cell C. I am Mrs G.L.Passeri
