<p>Hi</p> <p>This is a heartfelt goodbye to Cell-C, it's services, policies, ethics and staff.</p> <p>When i ported from MTN i was so full of hope that i had finally found a network provider that gave a **** about its customers. Lol. Yes, i was naive...</p> <p>Specifically, I'd like to thank you for the notifications you send when my prepaid data bundles are exhausted. These are such a useful indication that its time to go out and purchase more airtime, as my bundle was exhausted 45 minutes ago and you have cleaned out the balance of my airtime at out of bundle rates!</p> <p>I get a real kick out of something that appears to be a service for my benefit, but is actually designed to lull me into a false sense of security while you rip me off!</p> <p><span style="font-family: 'Avenir W01';">Way to go for creative marketing!</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: 'Avenir W01';">Big ups for the customer service staff with such phone s****s (e.g. pretending to be mystified why it took so long to notify me at 1am on a Monday morning - Yes, sure, the network must have been busy...What, i can phone your techical department and ask them? Wow, that's so cool! I can get lame excuses and a runaround from someone else!)</span></p> <p>Just chuck a disclaimer on your website that says: "Hey, idiot! You've paid over your pittance to us and it's not worth your while to take on our lawyers for R12.95, so just chill and go buy some more airtime."</p> <p>End of rant. You obviously have more customers than you need, so goodbye.</p> <p> </p> <p>Damian Visser</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

Hello
I'm still waiting for further activity, but in the meantime here's another incident:
Yesterday ( the 11th of June) at 16h18 i loaded R35 airtime at an SBSA ATM. I converted R12.50 into 100 MB data and sent 7 smss, and then surfed the net. A while later i checked my balances. I still had 6MB data, but my airtime was zero!
I was so incensed i called yourcallcentre.
The first consultant i spoke to said he couldn't see my R35 airtime purchase or my R12.50 data conversion, and "couldn't comment on what he couldn't see". Let's forget him...
The second consultant said she could see all the activity described above on my account, and agreed with me that my airtime balance should be about R17. She confirmed that my balance was zero. When asked what had happened to my R17 she said she would have to escalate the call, because 'she couldn't comment on what sje couldn't... etc."
Now we all know that you are going to contact me shortly to give me a refund, but imagine if you don't...
After a few days i call your callcentre again. I have no reference number, so explain it all again...its harder to see on your system because of intervening activity...i get the consultant to believe me, but they can't comment on what they can't see, etc. so someone will contact me...but no one contacts me...
I find it odd that the second consultant could see everything that happened on my account, except where R17 odd of my money didappeared.
Yhis is by no means the first time my money had disappeared without trace from your "system".
I put it to you that cell c is one hundred percent engaged in taking its customer's money, not giving value, and then making it so difficult for the customer to obtain redress that the customer eventually gives up. It isnt theft, exactly, but its close enough to smell like it to me. Like binary options trading, say...
So why don't you just go away and keep on doing whatever you call it that you are doing. You aren't a bunch of underhand ****** (armed ******s have more *****) but wait, what's that i smell...? It isn't binary option traders, so it must be....
