Cell C - Worst experience ever
I have had the worse experience dealing with this company. The Customer service is *********** and I always leave frustrated trying to get help. Trying to do a SIM Swap became a nightmare and I still didn't get assistance. I am not going to recommend that any of my friends and Family use their services. I am even terminating my services now. Good riddance

09 Jun 2022, 15:26The people I speak too say I am failing and I should go to the branch. I go to the branch and give them my details and still these people are not able to assist me. I had to call my mother who they said i need to get because the SIM is under her name. My mother is in a wheelchair after a stroke and now i had to bother her with stupid questions while i am the one who was using the sim for so many years. I have had the SIM for years. I don't understand why this should be an issue as if i was committing a crime by trying to SIM Swap. At the branch they can clearly see my Surname is the same as my Mothers and i have a copy of her ID. This is nonsense. I mean good grief

09 Jun 2022, 15:35Unfortunately is the sim card is not registered in your name , we will need to speak to the account holder/the person who registered the sim card in order to assist.

09 Jun 2022, 15:37I think that's stupid. If the person is dead then I would need to dig them up from the grave? The person is not the one using the SIM but me. I think this should be reviewed and amended. But its fine, no need to assist me. I will change to another provider.

09 Jun 2022, 15:40If the person is dead then you will have to do change of ownership ,due to ***** we can't assist a sim swap is very sensitive and we can't verify that you're the one who uses the sim card and the registered person gave permission.
