Cell C will force you to stay with them while not delivering any connection

Cell C bought over our fibre provider iConnect. Had we known they would be our provider in future we would have never signed up for this service. For exactly the reason we had never chosen Cell C before, we will also ensure we spread the word of how poorly we've been treated. We have been without internet since the 16th of Feb. We keep being either passed off to someone via email and after we requested a cancellation of the service after days of struggling to get some sort of resolution (which to date we have not, still without internet) we were told we would still be billed for the month. We made peace with being billed and paying the dues to ensure we would never to have deal with Cell C again, just to find out when trying to sign up with a new provider that we can't, Cell C will be holding onto our line for another month, not providing any connection but ensuring we are unable to sign up with any other service provider.

Good day Emily van der Merwe

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We sincerely apologies for the unpleasant experience.

Please private message us your Cell C account/ID and a reference number that we can use to follow up on.

I have provided you with the details privately. This will also be the 4th time you receive it. I appreciate the reply, but it usually ends in silence very shortly after you "reach out". We need a resolution, for Cell C to make good on their false commitments saying the service was successfully cancelled and to be able to move on from this awful experience.

Wish I could say thank you for the resolution. Finally got a response with a commitment, preparing for the worst and this too not being met. We'll say thank you when we're rid of you.
