Cell C wiggling there way out of specials offered

I went to cell c at Carnival Mall in Brakpan more than a month ago ( end of march 2016) to apply for their special of R99 per month for 5 GB and 15 GB night time special with a huawei router. My name was put on the list as they were waiting for stock. After a month of not hearing anything I went to the store and was told the special was discontinued due to stock problems. Firstly, if our names were already on the list for the special- we should still qualify for the product and the new comers wont be able to have the offer? Could anyone at Cell C not pickled up a phone and communicated this so that I could have sought after another deal? Is it up to the customer to run around after Cell C? I think not. For the people like my self who were on the list for the product not be helped? I am happy to take the sim card with the data in the mean time and wait for stock on the router.. Would this be possible? I was a potential first time customer at cell c and this has put a sour taste in my mouth- perhaps the reputation of cell c cant be improved after all...
