Cell C, where customer service and support is last on the list of priorities

Opened two contracts with Cell C in the past month or so and have only had negative experiences with customer services. 1st I have had to endure the painful process of canceling a contract which was wrongfully sold as a working solution, and of course they wanted me to oay for a service til cancelation even though I could not use it as it had no signal.

No secondly. I have had an old MTN number, ported to a Cell C contract some years ago on my wife's contract. After numerous, and I mean numerous calls to Cell C, visits to an outlet in Benoni, I have had a myriad of processes to follow, to get this same number, now ported to my contract. I took some effort but finally a document, transferring ownership of this number from my wife to myself was completed and signed by both of us and handed in at the outlet. Promises were made that I will receive a cal that it has been completed and I can come back to complete tge process.

After not having received any call whatsoever, I contact Cell C via the 135 number and after a decent temper loss, it is explained that there is nothing on the system whatsoever, to indicate that we have done this.

Wow. Great!!! Yet some more calls wasted, time wasted and another great experience from Cell C.

Now, I HAVE to go back to the outlet enquire all over again as it seems Cell C and Cell C Oakfields are on two different planets with two different systems.

And guess what. Cell C Oakfields number is on a permanent "busy" tone.

15 call attempts later and I am ready to blow.

What madness came over me to start out with Cell-C!???

I have two contracts with Vodacom and have never had this amount of grief as a paying customer!!!
