CELL C WHAT A WASTE OF TIME, TERRIBLE SYSTEM

I went in to the Vangate Cell C store 14 April 2018. I called ahead for my upgrade date as I was sure it was past the required date sure enough it was the assistant told me yes I can upgrade(12:55). I get to the Store(13:05) super excited as I am now more than 8 years with Cell C on contract and this is my 4th upgrade not missing a payment ever! She gets on the line to approve me and says oh no I am only approved for R89.00 contract,WHAAT!!!. This shocks me as I am currently paying more than R400.00 excluding Cell C Getmore. I no longer want a handset as I am happy with my current one so i wanted the LTE pocket router for R299.00 with 40gigs data, I know hey great deal? a few mins later(13:45) after at least 3 calls I am approved for that amount I sign all the relevant documentation(6 pages or so) she then finds out that the package I want is not the same type and with me now all excited waiting so long and finally getting it(14:05). She tells me that i have to get approved for this package all from over. after a few more mins (14:25), I am told that it cannot be done for some reason I can not understand I cannot get the upgrade. After all that time waiting around(14:35) I did not get the upgrade. I literally went and waited for nothing. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME, they have no problem taking my money for years and having no issues previously upgrading I find their system so stupid and it makes no sense to me. Please note i have an OK credit score and I have nothing against the person who helped me she did try, but the system sucks as soon as I can I will be cancelling my contract, Getmore and moving to another network as this is just a terrible way for customer retention clearly loyalty and you mean nothing!
