Cell c voucher not working and cell c taking their sweet time to sort this out!
At around 12 pm today I bought a R100 Cell C voucher from SPAR EXPRESS GATEWAY 319 UMHLANGA ROCKS DRIVE UMHLANGA _KZN TEL: *** VAT NO: ***, from a lady CASHIER NAME: Precious, after entering the voucher as per directions on the slip, the prompt returns a message that reads “ The voucher you entered does not exist” I’ve tried to get help from the cashier but she tried aswell she was unsuccessful i opted to call cell c customer care explaining everything the asked me to send a WhatsApp msg with a pic of the voucher and my phone number where i want the voucher loaded, i did that about an hour ago, I called cell c again but now the agent says i have to wait 48 hours because they have a long list of similar cases, my problem is if this problem has been noted why not alert the network users so we dont use our last cent to buy their airtime because they themselves cant load their own airtime, i must just wait, what about my reasons for loading airtime what ever issue im dealing with must wait 48 hours when ive put in my money, i think cell c need to catch a wake up and stop sending unnecessary sms to us customers and send serious alerts instead as i would have opted for another option if i had been alerted that cellc currently has a problem, its not fair to have them hold my R100 at ransom while they take time to sort out their problems.
Thank you for reaching out to Cell C.
We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this matter has caused. We understand how upsetting it is to purchase airtime and not be able to use it immediately, especially when you need it urgently.
We know waiting is difficult, and we sincerely apologize for the delay and the impact it has had on you. Kindly note that we have escalated this matter to our Support team for further investigation.
We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter.
Kind Regards,

Cell C.” I don have the slip anymore, and do you understand that going back to umhlanga is costly for me leaving in Tongaat, and my time you have waisted, if your customer care team had been properly informed from the beginning I would have requested my refund on the day while i was at the store as i phoned and consulted while i was at the store your service has been extremely poor customer support its truly pathetic!
