Cell C - Useless

I took out a month to month Data simcard plan with Cell C in 2018. Did not utilise it so I decided not to continue. Received Calls from Collectors after that stating that i owed Cell C money due to non payment of monthly contract fees. Although i insisted that I had not agreed to a multi term contract i was obliged to bring the account up to date which i did. i informed the store assistant that i was cancelling the account and would not be liable for any fees. During 2022 i checked my credit score and was shocked to see that I owed Cell C in excess of R8000-00. I have not received any correspondence or communication from Cell C as to me owing them outstanding fees. i tried to contact Cell C on their customer care line, to no avail. No options are available to speak to consultants and electronic prompts are to be followed. these options are not compatible to my predicament. I would strongly dissuade any persons looking for a cell operator to join Cell C.
