Cell C = Useless

My contract has expired and the price has gone up drastically. I want to cancel my contract and move to prepaid. One would think this is easy and possible. No, no ,no, not with Cell C. I keep getting the runaround. No store can help me as they claim only the store that started the contract can stop the contract. I live 1400 km AWAY FROM THEM NOW! How in hell can Cell C expect me to do that? They don't even answer the phone. Cell C service on the phone just says to go to a branch.... The damn branches don't want to help me!!!!!!!!!!! This feels like a trick employed to keep you on the hook as long as possible. All I want to do is stop the contract and go prepaid. Keeping my number.... Also, Cell C has informed me I can not do that......... What in the actual F is that BS,,,,, How can I not keep my number.... Again, a tactic to keep one on the hook for as long as possible eh?
