Cell C upgrading without permission

I was called in June by Cell C and told I could upgrade. The package I chose was the Pinnacle 500MB Top Up and included was a Huawei handset. The total per month would be R199. I was informed that due to me being upgraded earlier I would pay extra for the first few months. On 30 August I suddenly got a SMS indicating I have been activated on the 1 GB Top Up. I phoned the ***** line and informed them that nowhere did I approve that I wanted to get that particular package. After I made a few calls the problem was rectified and I was back on the Pinnacle 500MB Top Up from the 4th of September. When I queried on the 30th of September the debit order against my account and asked what my monthly installment was, I was informed that it is in the region of R279 per month. This is not what I agreed to and I had to phone around again to speak to the consultant who contacted me initially. I was then promised I would only pay R199 at the end of October. She also wrote me an apology. And on the 8th of October I was called by Cell C who informed me my contract was corrected and I would only pay R238 per month. I immediately contacted the initial consultant and informed her of the situation as by that time I was beyond furious. It seems that the one department doesn't know what the other department is doing. I have asked for proof of my monthly contract and I received screen shots. What I learned from this is never to do business with consultants over the phone. Go to a branch where you can get proof and sign for your contract because with Cell C you have to see the contract for yourself.
