Cell C Upgrade
Dear Customer Service and Complaints
I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Mobile
The issue that I have experienced was: My phone broke. So i send Cell c an email if there is a way that i can upgrade before my upgrade date that is in June 2018. So they send me a email with a ref num. After 3 days i phoned them to find out what is the outcome (they did not phone me as stated in the mail). The first person I spoke to said yes they approved it i can upgrade the 1 March 2018. 2 Days later I phoned again to confirm the upgrade date. Now the date has moved to the 4 March 2018. Then i phoned Cell C Key West to check for me when i can come in for the upgrade the person told me there is no way that i can upgrade i have to wait until June 2018. After a long discussion he said he will find out and phone me back. I am still waiting. And I asked the lady over the phone if I can do the upgrade in a store or must I do it over the phone. She said no problem you can do it in the store. So the second lady told me no I must phone the upgrade department for the upgrade.
Please can some one phone me back that knows what is going on at Cell C and how the upgrades work
It occurred on: February 26th, 2018
I want: Can I please do the upgrade like they told me the first time on the 1 March 2018. I don't want to buy a new phone if my upgrade is almost due. Thank you

Sincere apologies for the poor service. You can renew your contract in the following months:
- End of month 6 on a 6-month contract.
- On month 11 on a 12-month contract.
- On month 16 on an 18-month contract.
- On month 21 on a 24-month contract.
To see if you are due for an upgrade, simply dial *147*9# from your Cell C phone and your upgrade date will be displayed. Alternatively, you can visit a Cell C store near you or dial 143 from your Cell C phone.
We'll get one of our team members to assist.

All I am asking is can some one please check my upgrade and get back to me with the correct upgrade date.

01 Mar 2018, 14:31Good day, Cell c phoned me yesterday and told me that someone will phone me today to do the upgrade. I am still waiting for the phone call.
So I phoned in and they told me sorry but you will need to pay in R5000 before you can do any upgrades.

05 Mar 2018, 18:53Okay after all this I can not do an upgrade due to debit order that did not go thru on the 28 Feb 2018 but only on 2 March 2018. Due to Standard bank that was off line and my salary was only in my account on the 2 March 2018 due to off line service from Standard Bank. I have never ever skipped a payment on my account for the last 4 years that I am with Cell C. Thank Cell C is this how you treat your customers. I am not asking for a new contract I just want to do an upgrade.
