Cell C trying to RIP ME OFF and now threatening me that i will get a bad credit record.

<p>I phoned Cell C in April 2016 to cancel my two contracts with them, as their reception and service is none existent. I requested the settlement amount for both contracts and made the payment on the 11/04/2016 of nearly R2600. I was told after that my contracts will be cancelled and I asked whether any further amounts will be outstanding and I was told NO, month end came no debit order goes off so I assume all is in order and then on the 31/05/2016 a debit order goes off from Cell C. I queried the debit order with customer care only to be told they can't assist me and will get someone to contact me, so I received a call back on the 5/06/2016 only to be told that I have an amount in arrears hence the reason they took the amount off. I asked the consultant what the point is to ask for a settlement amount if you still have to pay something extra up and above that, so he said it is because it is two different things. I asked why wasn't it taken off on the 31/04/2016 instead??? Why wait nearly two months, so he said it is because they didn't have the invoice last month and only received it till now. Now Cell C tell me this why is that my problem and why don't your staff inform you that if you settle your contracts you still have more to pay??? And then you threaten me that you going to blacklist me and give me a bad credit record??? I will make sure everyone knows how useless you are and how you treat your clients. I will not pay for that debit order as I feel you misled me when I requested the settlement amount and maybe you should learn what settlement means.</p> <p> </p> <p>Case no: ***</p>
