Cell C ******* ME TO GET INTO 24 MONTHS CONTRACT WITH USING FALSE INFORMATION DURING THE CALL

Cell C sales consultant shared false information with me just to trick me to sign another 2 years contract with them.

They called me and said since my contract is coming to an END, I am due for an upgrade which will allow me to pay lesser amount than I used to for the past to 2 years. On top of that they said I can cancel at any time, I just have to give them 30 days notice and that's it.

BUT NOW REALITY IS: I WAS OVER BILLED,,, THE AMOUNT WAS MORE THAN WHAT I USED TO PAY FOR PAST 2 YEARS AND ITS NOT EVEN WHAT THEY SAID I WILL PAY WHEN I AGREED TO DO THE UPGRADE.

DEBIT ORDER RAN ON THE 15th WHICH WAS NOT THE AGREED DATE. THE AGREEMENT DATE WAS THE 1st.

I called them to find out why I was over billed, their explanation was not satisfying BUT AT THE END ONLY TO FIND THAT THE CONSULTANT THAT WAS ASSISTING ME WITH THE UPRAGE SHARED FALSE INFORMATION WITH ME.

So due to the above I told them I want to cancel now they are telling me I have to PAY LARGE SUM of money, THE 30 DAYS NOTICE INFORMATION I GOT FROM THE PREVIOUS CONSULTANT IS A LIE.
