Cell C trash

I requested cell c to close my account and they told me to settle the amount on the statement. I settled the amount and sent proof of payment, and then I received the following email: "Good day Mr. Rahlagane Mathebe,

Your cancellation request was processed successfully and your contract will be terminated on 03/01/2022. For any queries, call 084143 option 2.
