Cell C the worst provider.

My A5 popped/exploded in my hand. The whole back cover is ripped and the phone does not work. The back cover does not fit on the back anymore due to the battery being completely swollen up. This said this is a sealed unit where no person can get to the battery or open the back cover.

The phone was booked in Saturday the 11th of which the repair center only started to work on it on the 15th. While being at work without a phone at all..

Repair technician Lindiwe Mabogela created a report stating that there is nothing wrong with the phone I need to repair the cracked screen. This is absurd as the phone is dead, not working after the whole back of the phone was broken by the pop noise and the battery. I can even switch my phone one afterwards OR try to put the teared out cover back.

Once phoning the call center Lerrato transferred me to Repairs where there was NO supervision ton the floor. NO super visor or Manager(as expected always). 20 min later I got in contact with Mabunda the supervisor who does not even have a working Cell C system to get my information. I need to give him all my details (after being a customer for more than 5 years). He stated the report says nothing is wrong to the back of the phone I need to repair the Cracked screen (of which the small crack is not even on the LCD it is just the glass), I requested to speak to the Repairs manager Heinrich of which (surprise) is not available... surprise surprise.

How does an exploded battery have anything to do with a working phone with a small screen crack ? also, how does Cell C repair agents not see the back side of the phone not being dented, damaged or forcefully opened and tell me that the Warranty can not cover an exploding phone due to a cracked screen that is working 100%. If i could replace the battery and test they would know. NO internal damage is on the phone, it was working 100% and I have over 30 witnesses of the phone working fine with a Small glass crack.

Cell C , your services is -1 at best , your staff is unqualified and your manager/supervisor teams are not even clued up with a working system or in the offices. The technician can not write or investigate AFTER 3 days on 1 small phone.

I requested the phone recording of the call, the damage report of the Device battery AND internal mother board to prove this. Even if the technician replaced a different battery to test the phone. I will be taking the recording, report and exactly the time with people to the Newspapers and Will fight this warranty legally with witnesses. Cell C will not get away with this absurd report, unqualified people.

Lastly the client service from Cell C (since I have 3 contracts and have been there for over 5 years) has ALWAYS been one m horrible experience.

I want this issue resolved and my warranty to take effect on this faulty device and be treated correctly. Please anyone reading this post to assist me you please contact me. ********** Aldwen Teitge.
