CELL-C, THE WORST EVER.
A friend of mine and me were driving through Bloemfontein a couple of months ago. We stopped at the robot in mid-city area when a black man, forced his hand through the small opening of the window at my friend’s side and grabbed her phone which we used to navigate us through the city. This incident happened so fast, it was unreal. But this is not what it is all about. I informed her to notify Cell-C who is the network provider that her phone was ****** and they must block the number so that no phone calls can be made from the phone which she did from my phone. At that time she had a contract which may be cancelled with one month’s notice. She later then purchased a new phone and wanted Cell-C to port the old number to her new phone but Cell-C wanted R150 for this and she had to take it to the nearest Cell-C shop which is located +/- 75 kilo from where she stays to do this. She was not prepared to spend money on fuel and the R150 for the port and decided to cancel the contract. She phoned them to cancel the contract and was informed that she will have to pay for the one month cancellation period as that is part of the agreement and she agreed to it. Cell-C normally debited her account direct for this contract. What is happening now and for the past few months, Cell-C continues to debit her account every month with R197 and refuse to stop the debit order on their side. Every month she now has to go to her bank to reverse this debit order and obviously there is a charge to it which she must pay to do this. This is a very unhealthy situation and needs to be eradicated. Their service is not the best in this country, in fact it’s the worst, and then there is this ********** action. I will never recommend Cell-C to anyone in this country. They may have the cheapest rates but are the worst suppliers of cell services.
