Cell C the worst company in South Africa!!!

Cell C are the worst network providers!!! due to the implementation of work from home our company asked us to take out data contracts which will be paid for on a month to month basis therefore I went into Cell C in gateway Durban and I signed a month to month data contract last year March. First of all I ensured that this was definitely a month to month contract as I was given false information my another service provider prior to this and I was indeed ensured the promotion on data was month to month and was further informed by the sales agent there would be no cancellation fees when cancelling. Now that our level restrictions have been reduced and we are back to work full time I called the cancellation department only to find out that Cell C took it upon themselves to change my contract without my consent and without my signature and have made this a binding 24 month contract which I must pay R3000 odd rand in order to cancel if not I have to wait until March 2023 to cancel. There is absolutely no sense in dealing with a company who inundates us and harnesses us almost daily to upgrade but finds no need to call a customer and state there contract terms will be changed. Please tell me how on earth this is legal??? CELL C you absolutely DISGUST me!!! I hope this reaches the highest level of authority and your pathetic excuse of being customer centric is looked at if not please close down!! Theres enough people need to deal with such has rising fuel prices and sicknesses and to add ******* sales to this list shows that you should not be in the market
