Cell C, The mobile pickpocketers

Ive been a loyal Cell C subscriber since my very first phone at the age of 16. I've been loyal to the brand through its unreliable network coverage and now, as a working women feeling the pinch of the cost of being a subscriber. I continuously recharge and can only make short calls. Today I recharge with R50, called my husband who is a Cell C user for 3 intervals of less that 1min calls each because I was in back to back meetings, and once again I have no airtime left. Last week I've spent over R250 in calls that don't last anything over a min and my airtime was finished. This honestly feels like day light ******* because I don't feel like I'm getting the value or better yet anything out of the amounts I recharge with on a continuous basis. It's highly embarrassing when I'm calling clients and I get cut when I've made a "R100" recharge purchase. I'm better off using an old school phone card or land line in this instance. I have taken the decision to port my number to Telkom this coming weekend and start feeling like I'm getting value I need as a subscribers of a network. I've spoken to a few friends and and think that will be my next move. Cell C hads always held a nostalgic place in my heart, but unfortunately that nostalgia comes at a heavy price.
