Cell c terrible at the basics

For some reason Cell c decided to deactivate my sim card and their best response is you have to get a new 1 and I can't get that number back, Cell c is really just a useless service provider, I have been a client with them for years but I am 100% canceling as soon as my other contracts hit their term.

We don't deactivate sim cards.  What issue were you experiencing with the old sim card?

when people call me it says the number doesn't exist, on my cell it says the sim needs to provisioned. I called Cell c client care and they told me that the sim card was deactivated and they cant do anything about it..I asked to speak to a manager but the consultant did not he just dropped and put me to the rate my service side

Please provide the affected Cell C number and the RICA no. at the back of the SIM card.

Our records indicate that this sim card is permanently deactivated. This happens when a sim card has been used for outgoing billable activity is more than 90 days.

so you do deactivate sim cards, I use that sim for my whatsapp and to receive calls/sms and I use my contract sim to make outgoing calls and sms..... you guys don't say or warn that the card will be disabled,, it really doesn't make sense that you disable a sim because you not making money off of it but you can definitely see there's activity on it...so again my complaint still stands

As advised, you need to recharge the SIM card to keep it active.

We unfortunately cannot assist if the number / sim card has been deactivated due to it being inactive for more than 90 days.
